Iowa senators considering filtering legislation
A measure similar to Ohio SB 144 from the 126th General Assembly has been introduced in Iowa. The proposed legislation, Senate File 2108, would require Iowa's public libraries to restrict minors 16 and under from borrowing R-rated movies, and would deny state funding to any library that failed to install Internet filtering software.
